The idea
Anyone should be able to put themselves out there, be discovered for who they are and what they can do, and put together a creative team without relying on traditional gatekeepers.
Showcrafter is a discovery platform for film, television, theatre, music, and live events, and it isn’t only for the industry. It’s for working professionals, students and schools, and anyone who wants to make something or find something to see.
Think of it as LinkedIn, IMDb, and a casting platform in one, but open, searchable, and not gated by who you already know.
What it stands for
Discovery, not a feed
No algorithm deciding what you see. You come when you’re looking for something, find it, and get on with your work.
Opportunity is never for sale
Paying can buy better tools. It can never buy visibility, ranking, or access to opportunities.
Calm by design
No engagement bait and no nagging. Notifications are for things you’d actually want to know about.
